Next on the itinerary is the site of the Pharos Lighthouse of Alexandria, once counted among the Ancient Wonders of the world. Today, it is the location of the grand Citadel of Qaitbay.
Prepare to be enchanted by the Montazah Palace gardens of King Farouk, where you can marvel at the presidential palaces of Salamlek and Al-Haramlik, along with their adjacent beaches. Don’t miss fantastic photo opportunities at Alexandria’s charming mosque and Alexander the Great memorial statue.
The journey continues with a visit to the oldest church in Africa, the Church of St. Mark. Begin the Luxor tour by visiting the West Bank, where you will explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and other impressive Ancient Temple Monuments. Inside the Valley of the Kings, witness the painted pillars and walls inside the Pharaohs’ tombs, transporting you back in time. Stroll through the Necropolis of Thebes and the Temple of Deir El Bahari.
